SPIRITUAL REFLECTIONS

The Special Cactus In My Garden

It's been more than a month when I discovered that there is something wrong about this cactus. So I did everything I could so that it could survive. I once thought of just throwing it away since I still have other cactuses which are stronger, more beautiful and are really more prolofic than it, but I decided to keep it anyway.

Luckily, it is still alive, fighting for its survival. The outcome seems worth the effort.

Lesson: Some cactuses require time and effort on my part. Sometimes they seem hopeless despite the effort, but that does not mean I have to give up on them.

Same is true with people: We do not give up on people even when it seems too tedious to help and even though they seem weak even after a lot of efforts.

Constant care is needed and its premature withdrawal might be detrimental to the survival either of the cactus or of the person.
