THE RUINS

The RUINS is the official publication of the Professorium community of Seminario San Agustin.

 

The publication's name is itself a testament of the evangelic and apostolic zeal of the Augustinian Missionaries in the Philippines. It has withstood the tests of time – of earthquakes, of bombs, of defeat. It stands majestic and proud of its past, yet hopeful for its future. It knows that precisely because what it has been through, it will continue to stand and be a testimony to future generations that the Augustinians are here to stay. Despite its name, the RUINS is not the symbol of despair, it is a symbol of hope.

 

In the maiden issue of The Ruins, the friars focused around the theme, "Holiness: Ordo, Ecclesia, Mundus."
