Five Simple Professed Brothers renewed their vows today, May 20, 2017, in a mass presided by the Vicariate of the Orient's Regional Superior, Rev. Fr. Peter Casiño, OSA along with Rev. Fr. Jumbim Torres, OSA, JCL and Rev. Fr. Roy Gallano, OSA.
They are Fray Mark Anthony Morales Ferrer, OSA, Fray William Peter Acaac Arlegui, OSA, Fray Amiel Aquino Alvarez, OSA, Fray Alvin Vilches Arig, OSA and Fray Johnny Abellera Esmilla, OSA.
Father Casiño challenged the friars in his homily "to love just like Jesus Christ," that is, "If we love Jesus Christ, we should also love the things that he did for everyone of us."
Also present during the renewal of vows are the aspirants, postulants and pre-novices of Seminario San Agustin Intramuros.
A community breakfast followed after the mass.
