Four brothers have been accepted as Pre-Novices, bringing them one step closer to becoming Augustinian religious.

These brothers are PN. Dannie Bautista from San Rafael, Bulacan, PN. Dennis Bañares from Polangui, Albay, PN. Armando Felix from Quezon City and PN. Aldrin Tanjuan from Hagonoy, Bulacan.

They were accepted by the Vicariate's Regional Superior, Rev. Fr. Peter A. Casiño, OSA in a mass he presided earlier tonight, together with Rev. Fr. Randolf Dayandayan Jr., OSA, Master of Postulants and Pre-Novices and the rest of the seminary formation team. Also present in the event are the postulants, the professed brothers, and some members from the Colegio San Agustin - Bulacan community.

A community dinner followed afterwards. The members of the Shrine of the Holy Cross Choir, along with Rev. Fr. Aldrin Alvarado, OSA also visited the seminary and sang some Christmas carols for the community. The Shrine of the Holy Cross is the newest mission station of the Vicariate located at Batalay, Virac, Catanduanes, PH.

The seminarians also had the chance to showcase their singing skills by singing a few Christmas songs for the guests and the formators.

The Pre-Novitiate is the time immediately preceding the novitiate level wherein the candidates receive a further instruction on religious and community life. It covers a period of six months and the candidates are required to live religious life in a more intense way.
